Royal Penguin Boutique Hotel & Spa, Thamel, Kathmandu

Team exatraveller was recently in Nepal attending the #HTM2018 and we enjoyed the super amazing hospitality at Royal Penguin Boutique Hotel & Spa, Thamel, Kathmandu.

Though we stayed at Aria Boutique Hotel & Spa too for two nights, but I will rate RPBHS a point higher than ABHS.

I loved the strictness with which they maintain their smoke-free policy so that every guest can enjoy clean fresh air. The rooms were amazing and I really loved the room that I was allotted. The room décor was so quirky and captivating that I did not want to move out. The beds were clean, properly maintained and cleaned every day. Really loved the lighting concept; under-bed lighting created a hypnotic ambiance in the room.

My room had a comfortable sitting area with a made-to-order coffee table, a kettle and a tray with complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and accessories.

The Cave restaurant had an décor that of a cave and the stuffed animals and furniture made with drift wood was great. The breakfast at the hotel was complimentary.

RPBHS also featured a comfortable sauna, steam, aroma bath as well as beauty, massage, and hairdresser’s parlors.

Overall I loved staying at the Royal Penguin Boutique Hotel and Spa, and will sure be here again during my next visit (SOON) to Kathmandu.
