Right friends, Yes I know I am right…And also we all know that Gold, diamond and other gems jewellery are the most favourite assets that a woman owns and she uses them at the time of utmost difficult situations. Jewellery again is a woman’s best friend and her best beauty add-on.
And the same thoughts were echoed at a recently held Jewellery and Gems Show 2015 by the chief Guest Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt of India. The occasion was the grand occasion of the inauguration of the biggest jewellery show of India at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on 26th September 2015.
The 4th edition of the show hosted by UBM India was inaugurated during a grand ceremony and was attended by other dignitaries like Shri Ram Niwas Goel, Speaker, Delhi Assembly, Mr Yogesh Mudras, M.D., UBM India Pvt. Ltd., Mr.Shankar Sen, MD, Senco Gold, Regional Chairman, East, All India Gems and Jewellery Trade Federation and other leaders and office bearers of various Bullion and jewellery associations namely Delhi Bullion & Jewellers Association, Karol Bagh Jewellers Association, Maliwara Jewellers Association and Delhi Jewellers Association.
The show is now recognised as an integral part of the jewellery industry and brings together key associations, exhibitors, and buyers under one roof.Delhi show is North India’s largest B2B jewellery show and one of the major four jewellery shows held across the country annually.
Delhi’s show included big names in the jewellery industry in India like Binnys, ND Diamond, Itan, Dhirsons, Chain – N – Chain Jewels Ltd., WBIDC, Damara Gold Pvt. Ltd., Unique Chains, Jindal Jewellers, Royal Chains, Bhindi jewellers, Jaipur Ratna and many others. The event had about 270 participants from across the world. In addition to exhibiting gold, diamond, silver, gemstones, jewellery making machinery, the show also served as a perfect networking platform for leaders in the industry and wholesale and retail buyers.
Spread over five halls, the show saw many an aspiring models wearing and showing some exquisite designs of jewellery for the festive and wedding seasons. The crowd pullers of the show were the fashion show and Jewellery design award functions. Retail Jewellers Guild awards honouring excellence in jewellery manufacturing was also attended by many.India’s Retail Jewellery Companies Publications was also launched during the event.
